Based at Nepean Bay on Kangaroo Island Jane draws directly from the surrounding coastal landscape and birdlife to inform her work.

Alongside her studio practice she volunteers for South Australian National Parks on remote placements and with Nature Foundation maintaining an active engagement in conservation and ecological education.

Nepean Bay on Kangaroo Island, overlooks a quiet mallee coastline of sand and coastal vegetation including Callitris gracilis, a host tree to the incredibly rare and gorgeous enigma moth (Aenigmatineidae glatzella).
