It was so much fun to go into my inner art world. I've twice attended 2 day workshops (and may be come back another time) which has allowed me really to soak into a new world with Jane’s skilful teaching skill and surrounding spectacular landscape. We were invited into her house for tea and lunch between sessions and welcoming by her partner and chooks, what a treat! Jane can facilitate anyone from beginner to accomplished artist.

Since meeting Jane in Innes on a cold, wet and windy bike ride in 2020 she has welcomed me to her island and her art with a passion for nature and print making. This passion has produced a magnificent body of work that also welcomes and introduces the traveller to a community of KI characters including the Australian Fur-Seal, iconic and endangered Glossy-Black Cockatoo, Cormorants, Puffer Fish, Plovers, Pelicans, Honey-Eaters and my favourite the Southern Emu-Wren. By portraying these creatures in print, Jane manages to capture their quintessential spirit peering through a colourful veil of delicate, textured multimedia and they speak to you. You can hear the mournful and prehistoric cry of the Yellow-tail Cockatoo calling you back for another visit.
